James A. Nolan

Jim is a pioneer and leader in the field of educational consulting. He has 30 years experience in providing complete and objective assistance to students and their families in locating the most appropriate educational settings. His expertise encompasses a full range of educational options worldwide for students with varying needs at every level of education.

Prior to entering the field of educational consulting, Mr. Nolan served as Director of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Pennsylvania and Director of the Academy for Career Education under the auspices of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and Research and Better Schools.

Mr. Nolan holds both his B.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.

Formerly Director of Admissions at the University of Pennsylvania, his experience includes a comprehensive knowledge of international education. He is a co-founder of AEI.

Michael R. Balotti

Mike holds a B.A. from the University of Redlands-Johnston Center for Integrative Studies in Education and Sociology. He is also currently pursuing a Master's in International Education from the University of Bath in Bath, England.

Prior to entering the field of consulting , Mike had worked both as a teacher in the public school system, as well as in the therapeutic education industry. He was most recently part of a team that started and developed a therapeutic boarding school in Costa Rica.
